Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair. Buy the Eye and Skip the Night!

I decided to try Neutrogena’s new Retinol moisturizers. The commercials are convincing.

I first bought the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night, the facial moisturizer.

I wish I could say I love it but…you are supposed to put it on overnight and it has what I call the “Cat Died in a Bottle Scent”. I am sure I have smelled it before…maybe in a Roc product? People actually want their faces to smell like that…and all night…as they try to sleep.

I am imagining that there is a company out there that sells big vats of Cat Died in a Bottle Scent to unsuspecting cosmetic companies.

I returned to Shoppers Drug Mart to read the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair product labels. Based on my read the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye did not contain added fragrance and therefore not the hideous Cat Died in a Bottle smell. Until now, I thought companies that put the Cat Died in a Bottle Scent in their moisturizers did so because the ingredients without it must have smelled like Horse Died in a Bottle. That is what makes this all so annoying…the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye smells perfectly normal unscented?!? Why did they not just make the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night the same way?!?

So, I have been trying to compensate by using the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night in the evenings instead of overnight and then washing my face with rose water before bed. Unfortunately, I have been finding myself no longer using it because I really do not want to spend my evenings breathing in Cat Died in a Bottle.

I like the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye and would buy it again but I won’t buy the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night again…though if I happen to notice an unscented version one day down the road then I would try it again.

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair. If you want to be able to sleep while you use it Buy the Eye and Skip the Night!

Anyone want 90% of a bottle of Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night?
